Buena comunicación oral en las presentaciones/ Good oral communication in presentations.

¡Hola gerundianos!

El primer aprendizaje y desde mi punto de vista, el más importante para encarar una presentación es tener una buena comunicación oral, sí, incluso en finanzas, si no, ¿cómo crees que te entenderán?

Bien, lo primero de todo es estructurar la idea, presentarla de forma visible y dinámica, por ejemplo, si usas cartelería o diapositivas, debes presentarlo de una forma limpia, con una letra legible e imágenes claras. Ten en cuenta, que los oyentes deben comprender y prestarte toda su atención, de lo contrario en la ronda de dudas (muy eficaz para enganchar al público) no tendrán ninguna, porque no sabrán qué preguntar.

Quizá, nuestro error principal es que cuando hablamos en público carecemos de la capacidad de motivar a los demás, no os preocupéis que según mi profesora, eso lo podemos trabajar...

Para empezar, deberíamos practicar nuestra dicción, la expresión corporal y el vocabulario, ¡no estamos en la calle chicos! Debemos tener un tono energético, sin gritar, acompañado de una mirada segura y general, puedes focalizarte en una persona o en varias si las ves distraídas.

Por último, para hacer la presentación un poco más amena, puedes incluir experiencias personales o que le haya pasado a alguien que conozcas. Así sentirán que son parte de tu trabajo.

En definitiva, intenta que sea una conversación de dos, siendo ellos un grupo y tú una persona.

The first thing you should learn for a good presentation, and from my point of view the most importan, is to have a good oral communication. Yes, even in finance area, otherwise how do you think you can be understood?

Well, the first point is to structure the main idea and to expose the idea in a visible and dynamic way, for example, if you are using slides they must be exposed clearly, with  a legible letter and clear images. Keep in mind that viewers must understand you, otherwise at the round of questions (very effective for public engagement) there will be no questions.... because they will not know what to ask.

Maybe, our main mistake is that we don't have the ability to inspire audiences, but, don't worry, my teacher says we can work on it.

As a start, we have to practice our diction, our body expression and our vovabulary, we are not on the street! We should have a energetic tone of voice, without shouting, whit a general and self-confident look. Sometimes you can focus on a person or some people if you see them distracted.

Finally, if you want to have an more entertaining presentation, you can include personal experience (or experiences of your friends or workmates). This way, they feel that they are part of job.

In a short, try to make a two-way conversation, although you are one and they are a group.
